STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

for Power Back UPS

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to determine that the goods or services ordered are suitable for the intended purposes.

Pricing:

• All prices quoted are FOB Cape Town and exclude shipment and VAT.
• Subject to change without notification and are linked to the exchange rate.

Specials:

• While stocks last dependent on availability.

Orders:

• Orders can be placed via the online purchase facility provided at www.powerbackups.co.za
• All goods are sold by placement of orders to Power Back UPS.
• On placement of an order the purchaser here by adheres to, and acknowledges all the Conditions Of Sale, as a binding agreement with KBC.

Payments:

• Strictly Cash or EFT transfer – The full amount is to be paid into the Standard Bank account as specified on Invoiced before any delivery or collection can be made.
  
• Equipment is constructed per order.
  

Ownership:

• All goods remain the property of KBC, t/a Power Back UPS, until full payment is received.

Delivery:

• N.B. Delivery is confirmed after payment is received.
• Delivery or Collection is 2-5 working days after proof of payment has been received.
• Couriers with experience of handling this type equipment are dispatched.

Cancellation of order:

• Orders are firm and not subject to cancellation.
• Where a cancellation of an order is accepted by Kressey Business Communications the customer will be liable for payment of 20% of the total order value to offset our sales, administration and
  handling costs.

Guarantee:

• All equipment offered carries a 12 month warranty against faulty components and workmanship.
• Damage caused by malicious acts or acts of God are excluded from the warranty.
• All items sold are subject to a “carry in” warranty.
• The risk of damage or destruction of the goods passes to the Customer on receipt of the goods.
• Any discrepancies or failure of the goods that are returned within 48 hours of dispatch by KBC will attract a 10% handling and courier fees.
• After 48 hours of dispatch by KBC the Customer must obtain a Return Material Authorization from KBC

The Purchaser and Kressey Business Communications (KBC) t/a Power Back UPS enter into this contract for Power Back UPS to supply equipment subject to our Standard Terms & Conditions.
